About FeelPDF
FeelPDF is an independent product that provides 30+ everyday PDF tools — merge, split, compress, convert, edit, sign, protect, OCR and more. What makes it different is where the work happens: the tools run inside your own browser, so for every in-browser tool your files are processed on your device and never uploaded to a server.
Our mission
Most “online PDF” services upload your document to their servers, process it there, and ask you to trust that they delete it afterwards. We think the everyday task of merging or compressing a PDF shouldn’t require handing a contract, an ID, or a medical record to a third party. FeelPDF exists to make those tools private by design — fast, free to use, and verifiable.
How the tools work
Each in-browser tool is built on open web technology (WebAssembly and JavaScript) that runs locally. Your file is read from disk, transformed in memory, and handed back to you as a download. You can verify it yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, watch the Network tab, and run any tool — your file is never sent. We explain this in detail on our how it works page.
There is one honest exception. Converting Office files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) needs an engine too large to run in a browser, so those conversions use a single server located in the European Union that processes the file in memory, keeps no logs, and deletes it immediately. Those tools are clearly badged so you always know when a server is involved.
Who is behind FeelPDF
FeelPDF is built and operated independently by a small team focused on web privacy and document tooling. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by iLovePDF, Smallpdf, Adobe, or any other PDF service; those names are used only to describe and compare features. You can reach the people who run the site any time via our contact page.
How FeelPDF is funded
The free version is supported by advertising and a small amount of analytics; you can accept or reject non-essential cookies on your first visit. Premium removes ads and daily limits. Either way, your PDF files are never shared with advertisers — for in-browser tools they never leave your device. See our privacy policy for the full detail.
Accessibility & standards
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard-operable tools, visible focus, sufficient contrast, and screen-reader-friendly markup. Read our accessibility statement.
